Pattern Beauty is an independent haircare brand founded in Los Angeles in 2019 by Tracee Ellis Ross, after nearly a decade of developing the line for her own curl pattern. The range is built around moisture-forward formulas for type 3 and type 4 hair textures, anchored by the Jojoba Oil Hair Serum and the Heavy Conditioner. Pattern is sold direct, at Ulta, and at Sephora, where the haircare drops routinely sell through. Ross remains founder and CEO, and the brand operates from its Los Angeles studio.
