Tower 28 Beauty is an independent clean beauty brand founded in Santa Monica in 2019 by Amy Liu, a former cosmetics executive who built the line for her own sensitive, eczema-prone skin. The full range follows the National Eczema Association's Seal of Acceptance criteria, which is unusual in color cosmetics. SOS Rescue Spray and BeachPlease Tinted Balm are the breakout SKUs, sold at Sephora alongside the brand's direct channel. The brand is named for the safest air-quality zone on the Santa Monica beach where Liu grew up.
